Administration - MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT & TRAINING
Manpower Planning Development and Training is a Section of Administration Department. It is the responsibility of this Section in collaboration with other departments to make training proposals -on human capacity building and management designed to enhance the competencies of middle and Senior Level Staff and to co-ordinate its implementation.
Most of our proposals focus en current thinking on challenges in the transport sector and the best -practices in development and prudent management with specific references to areas like:
- Leadership roles, planning, organising, Delegation and Authority, Managerial decision making, pre-retirement planning and investment option1 effective communication and conflict management. Fraud detection and prevention, financial Accounts Control, Computer application and financial planning.
- Fraud detection and prevention, financial Accounts control, computer application and financial planning.
- Audit inspection and investigation techniques, problems associated with internal Audit and possible solution.
- Track maintenance technology, production of track tools and Component, Engineering design.
- Transport Administration, effective Operation and commercial activities
- Maintenance of Locomotives, Wagons, Trankers, Coaches, production of Locomotive and Wagons Spare parts and other Rail infrastructure.
- Maintenance of modern Signalling Equipment, telecommunication system, Communication Technology.
- Developing skills and knowledge on occupational Health facilities for prevention of Rail Transport specific occupational diseases.

- Traffic Training School Bauchi.
- Permanent Way Training School, Zaria.
